The podcast was good. But a lot of background noise. It could have been better without the background noise

Shweta if you are reading this… I did the same thing after my pregnancy… after a month in my own maternal house I realised I just cannot coexist in the same house with my mom ( she was making me lot more sleepless and she was very anxious ) i had severe post partum depression… I dint know it and neither she could understand it…I had to go back to my house and get a nanny for help ….she still feels bad that she couldn’t understand me during that phase.. after 5 years I still do feel bad but I had to do that for my own sanity… so it’s okay …. We need to take care of our mental health to tc of our own baby…❤

I am so glad that someone spoke the truth at last…. I felt the same… it’s just sick to the mother, for at least someone who wants to enjoy some time with the baby and not hurt others…as she said it’s not to hurt parents or in-laws but for our own sanity…
Motherhood in India is a challenge… I realized only when I moved to the USA for my second child…we have a village to deal with in India and it’s not easy… we don’t need the extra attention and noise for any reason

This is a wonderful conversation Ramya and Shwetambari. Shwetambari your delivery and postpartum story was so much relatable to me. Not with my mom. With my in-laws. But I don’t have a choice to let them go. Instead I went through all trauma. But never again. I literally cried when you said that story. Heartful conversation.

Love this series, Ramya. My mom is entering her 60s and doesn't have any major ailments but she struggles with familiarity inertia aka she doesnt wanna stay active and mobilise her body. Trying to convince her to devote an hour daily to some form of wellness routines is something I struggle with. Maybe you should bring your own parents on the show and it would be really helpful for a lot of us millennials facing the same predicament.

Thank you so much for briefly explained and clear our doubts....❤

Thank you so much for this podcast. Talking women’s heart. Just beautiful. My mom visited me when my daughter was 3, I saw so much difference in her behaviour and couldn’t handle. I thought very bad about myself. But your interview made me feel lighter.
