The journey to America's Got Talent was not a linear one for me, it came with a lot of pot holes and diversions, but it inevitably lead to my Golden Buzzer moment! Here is that journey!

So my 10 year old daughter and I listen to videos at night before she drifts off to sleep. We typically watch AGT or BGT or whatever and each time I hear your audition, each time, as I sit next to her, not seeing the screen, but simply hearing the words from your audition, I find myself literally moved to tears. Tears because of your raw talent, tears because it reminds me of when I lost my middle daughter back in 2013 at the same age as my daughter is now. She died in my arms, and each night when I sit in her old room with my youngest and listen to videos, while she drifts off to sleep. I can't help but be reminded of my middle daughter, and what we had. She is with me always, she is with us all as a family. She was and is "our love and our light". So tonight after hearing your audition one more time as my daughter drifted off to sleep I decided to look you up so I could hear more, see more, learn more about the man who literally makes me cry each time I hear his voice. Your videos are hauntingly good. You are a true inspiration and a remarkable person. I know I'm just some person who saw your audition and liked it. Well after hearing more about you and your journey in this life I find myself more and more moved the longer I listen. I guess that is all I have to say for now. My LA teacher showed my class and I your poem you made about your dad and as someone who knows what that feels like, I know it must have been hard to get to where you are now. I have never been good with showing my emotion since my dad left and your poem has shown me a different perspective. Your work has made me think about forgiving my dad for leaving. I’m not good with expressing myself so I turn to music and poems a lot. The line, “That’s the cost of love…. caring for someone so much that you can’t imagine living life without them. Staring at a grave like… how about I trade my 6 feet for yours, but that ain’t real.” Brought me to tears bc I can relate. As a father of a young girl, i was incredibly moved by your performance. Congrats. You're amazing. The whole poem hit home, because we do sometimes think of alternative realities, such as what would I have said to my daughter if she, like your sister, was cut short in life?
