Germany: Village Life and Saturday Afternoon Fun.

Windesheim is a small village in Germany not far from Frankfort. Ken and avid runner decided to participate in the towns annual wine fest. Runners from the area and Ken from the USA eagerly lined up for the take off; the winners to receive a medal or boxed bottles of the local wine. Ken won oldest participant and won a boxed set of the local brew plus a medal.
Everyone had fun. The sausage was good. The beer was good and the villagers were very happy and friendly. Windesheim is a municipality in the district of Bad Kreuznach in Rhineland-Palatinate, in #Germany.
