you know it’s wild, like even 2 years ago or so we’d have said $0.50/switch was cheaper with so many switches at the $0.65 /switch price point, but now, there are so many great factory lubed options from HMX at like $0.35-$0.40 a pop, it almost feels spendy. At this point, I’ve lost track of my switch (and almost board) collection, so I’m not going to stress $0.10-$0.15 / switch, but it’s just wild how quickly this hobby evolves.

I feel like tactiles need more love/innovation. Manus have been making great stock linears, but tactiles are usually still super lacking without a good amount of work.

I tried the Hojicha Reserve myself, and while they were super smooth and sounded great the initial actuation force was way too stiff for me. It's far more like 60g than the listed 46g. Thermamingoat's force graphs are pretty spot on and I should have paid better attention to them. Nice switches but also just not what I was looking for. Spring swapping is an option but something I'm not interested in doing. It was incredibly tedious when I did it to 90 Durock Shrimp T1's.

what is the purpose of a sound test on 2 boards more than likely not owned by most people? especially with how drastic a board can change sound one way or the other.
