Funny story, I used to carpool with a couple buddies and we were on the way to work at 6 in the morning. It was dark. Suddenly we see one of these things in the sky and we hadn't seen one before so we genuinely were scared. Ill never forget my buddy chris freaking out "whats going on?!?!? ARE WE GONNA DIE TODAY?!?!?!" RIP Chris. Ill never forget that.

I had the opportunity to see one June of 2018. I think it was the last block 4 F9 launch. Definitely spectacular, I didn't even know it was a thing until I saw it with my own eyes. Absolutely amazing just how quickly it expands through the sky. The rocket looks so tiny at that point, but the plumes it creates are absolutely massive

Have seen these trails a couple of times in Arizona when a Falcon 9 launches from California . Freaked me out the 1st time seeing it, a long white trail lite up, streaking across the night sky.
