This AFL season is GETTING CRAZY

How is THAT possible? It's the question that best sums up season 2024. From teams collapsing and individuals turning around their careers, just about everything possible has happened in this crazy AFL season.

West Coast and North Melbourne never came close to that level of ineptitude.

Sydney swans from 13-1 now from losing 4-5 games
Port Adeliade were the first this century to defeat a top ladder team by 100
Brisbane lions being 13th in round 8 to 2nd right now
Bulldogs having the strongest form right now
Hawthorn coming from dead last 17th place in round 5 having a 0-5 to possibly finals is crazy
this season is the best season in my opinion it's unpredictable idk a winner

To anyone saying Swans have had injuries well so did Port Adelaide for example Jeremy Finlayson, Todd Marshall, Trent McKenzie, SPP and now Mitch Georgiases among others. The difference between the Swans and Port is that Port have been able to make the most with what they got unlike the Swans.

The swans injuries cant be used an excuse considering the injuries basically every top 8 team has had to deal with. They just have really inconsistent forwards minus paply and not the greatest backline. The moment their midfield stops dominating their team isnt actually that scary

The inconsistencies are making my ladder prediction look much better now. Everyone gets a pass on 6th to 13th, but I predicted GWS 1st, Brisbane 3rd, Port Adelaide 6th, Melbourne 10th, West Coast 14th, North Melbourne 16th and Richmond the wooden spoon (pretty good). I did get Adelaide 5th, Geelong 15th and Hawthorn 17th wrong. I'm now waiting to see how close I was with Swans 11th?
