Who cares when these are not going to be released until 2025? Nvidia already confirmed that they are deviating from their normal two year release cycle and that the next gen wouldn't be out until 2025. Also, anyone can claim "possible" specs. This is nothing and it's just guessing the likely increase...because it typically increases that much every new gen. The actual performance increase between a 4090 and a 5090 will be between 35% and 50%. Nvidia will never again release something like a 1080 Ti.

the reason why the 4090's cable melted is because no one connetcted it 100% and because the cable could've got bent abd snap from the inside

I have 32gb of ram and 16gb of vram (RTX4080) yes i am exoted for the 50 series while i likely wont buy it as i usually only upgrade my gpu every 2 generations im still exited to see how its gonna perform! The 4090 is alresdy a beast but there also is a lot of room to improve! Im also exited for the rest of the 50 lineup as for the 40 series the low end cards so 4060 and ti are trash so since theres a lot of people that dont spend that much on their gpus (which is fine) i would like to see nvdia doing a bit for those people!

I'd even keep my 5800X3D with a 5090 as I do now with the 4090! I limit my max FPS anyway to 115 FPS at 120Hz. If the 4090 rises over 2000$ I will sell it and prepare money for a 5090!

I find the talk of running at 8k hilarious. If you think more than 1440p is a worthwhile upgrade (on an average PC screen of 27/28inch) you have more money than common sense.
