Good video and 99 percent accurate. Seeing a channel dedicated to Southern Oregon is awesome, and you have a new subscriber. I miss Ashland (I lived there from 2002 to 2010, even though it has changed since the fire and pandemic. However, Gisseppi’s is the best pizza you've ever had? I liked it, but it wasn’t even the best Pizza in Ashland. It was in the top three when I was there 15 years ago, with Great American at the top (sourdough crust and dough notes). I also liked Creekside better in those days, but I admit alcohol might have been a factor.

Also, it's not Ashland, but I really liked Kaleidoscope in those days. Those were similar times, and life was good.

My dad used to run the outdoors maintenance in Lithia Park ...he had a big hand in planting hundreds of the trees. I LOVED living in Ashland..up on Altamont street. Never had so many lightning bolts hit so close..you can smell them.

Thanks for the video. Odd that you show video and stills of New York City and someplace that looks like Europe. LOL!

The dining out is pretty mediocre compared to Eugene and Portland and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival is overrated. The climate and nature are lovely. However, the summer/fall wildfire season is absolutely horrifying. The fires can quickly sweep down into Ashland from the surrounding hills. Then, for a month (or two months, in the worst years) the toxic smoke-filled air will make you want to flee Southern Oregon to find some breathable air.

There are TONS of jobs available in Ashland right now. The problem is the COST of living here. Doesn’t add up. And Guiseppis 😍 was the best!

Don't get me wrong Ashland is beautiful small town. Everything is on opposite sides of town it's a back and forth type of town . beatiful homes and view.

Ashland is full of rich people who are selfish and greedy. And it feels like you live in California.

Ashland is a cute, quaint but boring town, best suited for wealthy retirees. Except for the climate and for the nature in Southern Oregon, Ashland has very little going on.

I moved to Ashland in early 2010. Giuseppe Pizza Ashland was still open. It was good pizza too! But there is one better pizza in Ashland... it's been here since 1990... You have most likely taken your family there.
The Great American Pizza Company. Hope you know and if not... go get some of the best pizza ever.
Great channel, keep going.

The big problem with Ashland is your three hours away from Civilization. The closest town with any sign of intelligent life is Eugene. I’m sorry to bust your bubble, but there is really NOTHING in Southern Oregon worth seeing (other than Ashland), and believe me when I say, you start coming down with ‘Island fever’ after about 9 months of Ashland. Ashland is truly a small town (as in SMALL). I lived in Ashland for two years, and saw the same faces about five times a day. The tourist wander Litha Park like zombies. They smile; you smile back. As a resident, you begin to feel like your on the crew of the ‘LOVE BOAT’ greeting the arrivals. They tell you how great it is, "YES" you tell them "Greatest place on Earth!" I've heard a fair share of locals pumping sunshine up the tourist's ass. I myself fell victim to this. Only after I moved out did I realize why. When your trapped in a cult. You want to trap others. Great place to visit; now could I get those two years of my life back?
