2021 Ski Doo 850 Turbo Vs NA 850 and Turbo Polaris 850

We took a 3 hour tip with the 2021 Ski-Doo 850 Turbo to 500 Ft snow drags. We ran against a Polaris 850 with a Boondocker Turbo kit

The sled is getting faster with each thing I do. Also took the sled out on the river to compare with a Ski-Doo MXz 850 TNT that was geared with triggers and ran against another Ski-doo 850 renegade.

The sled was also flashed with Bikemans Stage 2 performance flash the sled had around 70% left with break in. Hoping this week I get the proper gearing in this pig and see what it can really do!

2:07 I wish my clutch hooked up that fast! Looks like a fun time! My sleds currently apart with the clutch on the workbench. About 3K RPM it engages with a loud bang. I am still waiting for snow in Cleveland.

Good progress! It’s just a matter of tuning and maybe increasing the Tune to Race fuel.... I know those Ski doo Turbo are designed to increase boost, as you go up in altitude... Since your at sea level, I’m curious if that’s holding the turbo back from delivering max boost?

are you still running t motion? I would ditch that crap and go with trail version rear, C motion or what ever that is. Will make it more stable out of the line since you are sitting on it. Cool to see trail converting one of these machines.

In racing n with a turbo main thing is BREAK TORQUE IT AT THE LINE! You'll eat some belts but your R's will be building boost off the line.

Always put a new drive belt on for racing at the strip.

It's improving, my assault beats my xrs about the same as you beat the mxz. My assault only does 84, xrs will touch 100 in the right conditions but generally is high 90's. I've never clutches a doo, but in my assault I really had to put alot of weight closest to the heel to load the turbo early to make it pull

I know craig pretty well you want a race I have a 850 and yamaha sidewinder I ride degrasse area and of course with craig on a sled it going to hook with his weight man you live drag racing as much as me. I've raced craig g8 with golf r and ruined him but hey that's the whole fun of it. Oh by the way sounds like you not labor the engine enough try adding some weight to your clutches.
