Assertions in Java 5 help in tracking the data and conditions that might cause issues in production application. Assert statements enabled when classes are run in virtual machine and help in identifying the data that causes some conditions fail. Assert statements are disabled by default. In this video tutorial i have explained how to enable and disable Assert statements for classes, packages and subpackages.

Why wouldn't you just use a while loop?
