Add the exponents => 4+(-4)=0
x^0=1
The answer is 1

You used three operations, the fourth one is sqrt(a^n) of index m will be a^(n/m)

Laws of exponents are really useful when dealing with decimal numbers!

The last one is x^0 but that is equal to 1 so the answer is 1

note: this only works if they have the same base

If the base doesn't have an exponent, , , the coefficient is understood as 1 then you gotta add up all of the exponents not multiply

Don’t memorise these laws see why they are true it’s makes it much easier to remember
For example to see why a^0=1
A^1*a^0=a or a^1+0
Because of identity property a^0 has to be 1
