You can add skew using the Transformations docker (Transform docker in 2019 & 2020). After you've figured out the amount you want to add, you can use that same value to add the same amount of skew to other shapes.

Click VIEW Click to GRID click on DOCUMENT GRID. Type out font with no Italic make font what ever size you want, Click on OBJECT Click on ADD PERSPECTIVE a red box will surround the font you typed out and just move the two top black boxes to the right. I did not have a chance to figure out how to get both boxes to move at the same time. You can also convert the font to curves if you need to. Simple, but it works
