Thrustmaster TS-PC - Review & Unboxing (Best wheel not DD?)

My review of the Thrustmaster TS-PC. Ive had the it for a couple of months now
and feel i have enough time with it to give my impressions of what its like.
Bare in mind that this is my second wheel, first one was the Thurstmaster T-150. I have also spent some time with other wheels.

This is my wheel. I bought this and started racing pc2. I truly believe this is why I’ve been driving so well without exp. virtual reality probably helped allot since u are in the car.. the feedbacks resiculously detailed on this wheel

I bought a new TX I changed the fan within a week. TM use horrible cheap PC cooling fans, you'll be much happier if you replace it with a high quality Noctua NF-A6×25 FLX. This fan is compatible and doesn't overload the wheelbase. It's actually a slightly lower load than the original. It comes with various chocked which can limit its RPM and noise but unrestricted it runs at 3, 000RPM at 19.3 dB(A) it runs for less time than the original due to better performance and it is quieter (than my dodgy original anyway at the unrestricted 19.3 dB(A) ) it's available with a very nice F488 Alcantara D shaped wheel with LED's now.

I ended up going with the Fanatec CSW v2.5 and the Formula Carbon rim, but the TS PC Racer was on my radar. Glad you enjoy it!

Your gonna love this wheel. I have the TS-PC racer also but added the 599x rim at purchase. I've never used the stock wheel that came with it. Gratz RB!

Ach cool, forgot you did a video on this! The wheel rim, together with a sparco one has now become available to buy sepirate for the T300 base. I'm very tempted to get one.

It still completely baffles me as to why people say the power supply looks bad. Its a turbo. Guess what you get otherwise. A giant useless rectangular Ill take the turbo over the useless rectangular blob any day!!!!

Glad your happy with it, sounds like an awesome wheel. Looking to upgrade my 4 year old G27 but this TS-PC is too expensive. Like you say, if it came with decent pedals and maybe an extra regular rim or a shifter it would make the price feel less like a kick in the nuts :)

I have it for a week now almost. But its a great steeringwheel. But this steer is better than the ts 500. I play the ts-pc with fanatic pedals with loadcell

bought one of these a couple of months back along with the 599x rim. Got mine for £391 in the Uk. Was going to get a Fanatec CSL, but with the reliablility issues with fanatec and having to order from Germany. i didn't want to be without a wheel for weeks if i got one of the duff ones.

Its stronger then the t500 the t500 is like 4.7nm to 4.9nm this wheel is 6nm yes plenty of power for me I was going to egt the fanatec v2.5 decided to go with the ts xw because of the price and the bundle I got from playseat also so many wheels you can get that are made for it on sites pro wheels def like that even if some are like 400 dollars but to me that makes it even better in my opinion I absolutely love the feel of these wheels I get it when people say nice you own the thrustmaster even if you try fanatec most of the time you still like the feel of the thrustmaster especially out of the box and it just feels good

Just bought this wheel and love it but I have 2 you unplug the wheel from power when not in use or just leave it plugged in all the time Especially to complete its cooldown ...I can hear a slight fan noise even 3 hours later if I press my ear to the casing..
Also I cannot seem to make dpad work in menus in PC 2 ...

What people dont understand that is, pc racer is a great base with a marginal wheel ts-pc racer, TGt, TM sparco TSW all same bases -except butt kicker eorks in TGT in PS4 GT only..my base has slight noise but little fan noise and the big cooling fan on the motor no noises

Hi Ricky how are you doing? Thanks for your review on the ts pc great video! I'm a fan of your videos and editing and wanted to ask you what your long term use of the wheel has been like as I've just gotten into the simulation side of things and purchased a thrustmaster tx wheel but am having major issue with it even at very low feedback settings and am thinking of upgrading to the ts xw which uses the exact same wheel base. Any words on this would be greatly appreciated

Hey Ricky! I just purchased the TS-PC Racer and coming from the T300 and what I have noticed is it is considerably "heavier" even at Global PC Control Panel set at 75% and if I go to 100%, I no longer need to go to the gym for the day because it is a considerable workout! Is there a setting in game (PC2 and iRacing are my main sims) or in Control Panel that makes the wheel not quite so heavy, but still allows me to feel kerbs and other imperfections in the road? Thank you very much in advance!

Are you still using thrustmaster? Thinking of upgrading and buying a tgt since I primarily play Gran Turismo and won't get a PC (tried a csl elite for a week with load cell wasn't impressed) currently on a t300
