I bought the L-A-Z Boy Delano last year and the threaded insert nut popped out due to a shoddy piece of particle wood being used on the seat cushion. I contacted L-A-Z Boy support and was directed to reach out to True Innovations, since they are the ones that actually make the chair.... so it's a L-A-Z Boy only in name. I was told that the chair was discontinued around the same time the chair was purchased and that they had no replacement upholstered parts! So essentially when you buy a L-A-Z boy office chair, you might as well use that as toilet paper. Also when trying to contact True Innovations customer support number it tells you that they are sorry they missed your call and directs you to send them an email.... I tried this number for 2 weeks straight during the advertised customer service operations hours

Man I know the struggle I'm 6'7 380lbs 44" waist with a 58" chest I've been looking for a decent office chair for years because I spend a lot of time at my computer desk so the reviews are super helpful and much appreciated maybe one day we will have total comfort like some of the smaller people lol

Higher price point, but very well built to handle a big guy is the Serta® iComfort i6000 Big & Tall. I've had the i4000 for years and it has worked great. I just bought the i6000 and like it alot.

I'm pretty picky with chairs but hard to find all my preferences within budget which are usually foldable armrests, a headrest, and a good range of heights.

Do you have any recommendations for bean bag chairs fit for big and tall guys? Preferably over 400lb weight limit?

I'm curious on the 1 year+ update on this item. Is it still decent after a year? I'm burning through these "well reviewed" "high rated" chairs between Amazon and Google shopping and YT sponsors. They feel awesome at first, but after 6-9 months there are issues and I am once again shopping for a chair. I'm not tall, just big and wide hipped, 5'8" 330lbs. I am in my chair for 9-12 hours daily between work and personal usage. I'm hesitant to buy over $200 chairs, but I'm also tired of buying another $200-ish chair every year.
