Truth is: only thing that's better in FH5 are the car sounds. Everything else in FH4 is so much better

As a die-hard simracer i was never into the horizon series, but when i found out that this supposedly masterpiece is being discontinued, i had to get it. And thank god i did, what a great game. Now i know why everyone likes it so much. If you are reading this, i highly recommend it

I’ll forever stick to fh4, it carried my childhood especially during Covid, I played forza horizon 5 and it just didn’t feel the same, the map felt boring and I’d get so bored easily

I got an email about the sunset of FH4 last month and MS gave me the base game for free. The reason being that as a GamePass subscriber, I had FH4 as part of the sub, but I'd bought DLC for it. So the email said that in order to continue enjoying the DLC, here's the free base game so you can continue to install/play it after it's no longer available for purchase.
I don't know if they'll continue to give the base game to people for free if they get the DLC, but this might be a way to shave off a couple of more dollars from the price (for GamePass folks) if they do.
And I agree with the video verdict. I had a lot more fun in FH4, with the seasonal differences.

There was something special about FH4 i played the heck out of it in 2018 and 2019 the graphics were just stunning at the time and still are now.

Ive been playing FH4 for a few hours right now and its pretty much better than FH5 in everyway. FH5 felt way to easy and some of the fastest cars were given to the player very early on in the game. The game had no sense of real challenge or progression. FH4 is the right balance of enjoyment, challenge, and the story is way better.

It's honestly funny seeing people glaze FH4 years after the majority said they hated the game. How it was just a reskin of FH3. People complained that wheelspins and cars were too frequent. They complained the map looked all the same. How upset they were about winter in FH4. Both are fantastic games. However, as a wheel player, FH5 is better. Looking forward to FH6

Forza Horizon 5 is so eazy that's is not even worth to play it...That come from this guy, also I prefer Forza horizon 4 dynamic seasons... Forza Horizon 4 dont have the best graphics but game is fun and not boring.

See, I have a different perspective than you. As a first time player in the Forza franchise who's first fh game is 5, I love the fact that you get cars so easily in Forza 5. I find it incredibly fun. I can easily choose different cars and have fun with them, test them out and feel them out, and see the differences. I love having that freedom of options. I don't like working my ass off for that one car that I want. I do get the feeling of reward but I just wanna have fun and mindlessly drive in the game, enjoy the scenary, listen to a podcast and relax. My dream car has always been a Nissan GTR, and I got it within like 2 hours. I love that. Then I got an Audi that my mom owns in real life, which makes it really fun too.

Got both fh4 and 5 on release dates...played both to death..both are brilliant but fh4 is so much better...the roads the scenery everything, I find myself putting on fh5 every few weeks but after 10mins i put fh4 on....dont get me wrong fh5 is amazing but like others have said Mexico is boring..the scenery is amazing too but just not the same as Scotland...maybe im being biased cause im from Scotland 👋...but racing down a tight twisty back road is so much more fun....and another thing every time i play fh4 theres always at least 60 online players...fh5 its usually like 25...end of rant..fh4 hands down.

Fh4 nailed it with the map. It looks and feels alive and vibrant. FH5's map looks dusty and dead, as though an apocalypse.
