So, this is actually saving my ass right now.
My school schedule is crazy right now. I have 3 intensive courses right now. The total time I have to put in over 80 hours a week. And this being one of the novels I have to read in TWO DAYS and be able to write an academic essay about specific elements of the text. Among two other novels, about 300 pages of theory, an essay, an exam on the last 100 years of American racism, and a presentation!
And this is the one that's beating me. I can't keep my mind focused from one line of the text to the next. But then I play a soundtrack, and listen to this audiobook and just take a breath and slowly read along. And it makes sense. I get a break while I get school done.
