It's sad that teens today don't know that not too long ago, all those places had something listed for a dollar. In 2001, Taco Bell sold their crunchy tacos for 69¢. In 2014, it was 99¢. Now, they sell for $1.79 each. Even crazier for many was McDonalds prices in the 70s. You could get a Big Mac, Large Fries, and a Large Drink for about $1.31 (Before taxes if your state taxes prepared foods). Today, some McDonalds charge $20 for a Large Big Mac meal.
