It is interesting that 4790k as used are more expensive then 10100f or some 6/12 ryzen in most of countries and fackn used motherboard for 4790k.costs alot too

I'm sure the FPS will stay very even when playing at 4K resolution. If you're playing 4K with the i7-4790K, it's not worth upgrading..

To everyone wondering why the results are similar, it is because of CPU bottlenecking. Both GPU's that are being used right now are not able to go to their full potential, there is a 14-15% bottleneck on these GPU's, they COULD go higher and better with a better CPU that can handle the GPU's, but this benchmark obviously doesn't show that. (this is in reference to the actual game fps numbers, not the CPU rendering times)

Remember people! Always check to make sure that your CPU can fully handle your GPU before buying it, otherwise it's a waste of some money!

Thats why AMD whope Intel Ass in every category from desktop cpu to laptop (mobile) 0 innovation from Intel in last 10y same recycled cpus every year .
Overpriced and not to mention they force people to change they platform to , new mboard for every "new" gen basically for very small gains improvement .

i7 4970K is a terrible CPU for gaming damn ! Just look at the bottleneck with even a rtx2060S and the RTX 3080 is too powerful for it . Maybe a gtx1080 will be ok for it!
