The X2 promises to deliver outstanding performance, unique looks and build quality like no other... but after working with the enclosure on a few systems, everything is not what it seems. So Phanteks is running a limited edition GOLD/Black Evolv X2 that's only for the Case King Group. --- looks HELLA HOT but not that many will be made. They are asking which colors the people want to see in limited edition runs, so chime in below. Let Phanteks know! I just want the original Silver/Black to be the stock color.

100% agree with the lack of contrast. It was the first ATX case that enticed me more than ITX in a long time at the showcase, but not as it ships now.

I might be in the minority, but I prefer the black aluminum, my entire PC setup is all black and I thought the silver was tacky. I do think it could have been a shade lighter though, more of a graphite black than pure black

While I can understand and agree with some of these sentiments, I think it's also okay that this case isn't for the crazy $1k double rad water cooling 1% of PC buyers. This case is beautiful and it taking the guesswork out, is a positive for those whom are less versed in PC building. Sometimes too many options deters and overwhelms people.

I think this case is gorgeous. I do wish the Aluminum was silver for the black version but I love it regardless. I'll be switching to this.

I agree they should have kept the original look! I was waiting for this case it reminds me of the Nvidia FE cards

this case should have been designed without any side panels in mind. just a cool floaty scifi open air case.

The Phanteks Evolv X with the top/front case mod is still my favourite case to date. Design, build and performance is brilliant- with two AIO’s, temps and noise are just beautiful, especially with a 420 radiator. Given the choice of changing anything on it, a separate chamber at the top for the liquid cooled GPU radiator would make it the perfect case (for my liking ofcourse 😊).

I ended up getting the Hyte Y70 because I got tired of waiting on this csae to release. Now that the final release is out, I am glad I made that decision. Such a shame too since like you, I was so excited for this case.

I do miss the contrast that they showed us at computex, but it just gives me a reason to use my air brush. I might do a gold leaf color with a clear smoke finish over it.
