Thanks for making these videos. I'm in trade school right now but this is the side of the HVAC/R industry that I really want to get into.

I like your videos . It is very informative and easy to understand. I am an electrician at trade but do have to do visual inspection in retail refrigeration plants. Please do indicators of gas leaks and reasons for flood back /ice up towards the compressors.
Keep making great videos.

You are the best, I'm doing same thing on scroll compressor in 2 days, my question to you did you replace the oil filling control for the compressor to fix the over fill problem or not ? I'm going to take the extra oil out of the compressor and replace the oil controller because this problem happened for the second time on same compressor!

quick queston. i have a small 3 compressor rack, semi hermetic copelands. one compressor is slugging with oil. even if i isolate the oil line. assuming the oil be coming in through the suction line? the oil reservoir is showing empty. could it have anything to do with the oil Seperator? its got me baffled. all compressors are fitted with electronic oil level control ( Traxoils)

Just curious what caused that compressor sucks so much oil in it and didn’t discharge them back to the rack? Will this oil issue cause other compressors shut down due to the lack of oil, and that compressor with too much oil also not working ?

what are some common causes for a compressor to log with oil beyond the normal level/steal oil from other comps? Cheers!

Hey by any chance can you get oil on the txv and restrict Freon from flowing by?
