I’m in Atlanta and purchased my baby from an actual breeder in Georgia for $750. She’s SUPER sweet and you can tell the breeder takes good care of them. She provides papers, 1st set of shots, deworming, etc.

As a breeder it makes me so sad to see puppies kept and sold this way. Puppies should be raised in a family home NOT separated from their mother.

I also bought a teacup Yorkie from a rescue Shelter for $200. He was six years old, found as a stray. He recently passed at age 18 years. Rescue dogs are the best. Puppy farms are a disgrace to humanity and breeders make profit out of many pregnancies in the poor Mother dog's life, like a pimp. Many dogs waiting to love you in a Shelter.

I rescued my Yorkie, she was about 5, I had her 3 years, she was crate, pad trained, quiet and playful. Fee was $230, including spay, shots and microchip 💗 she and I saved each other, my Bella 🐾🐾🐾💞

Maaannnn I called Petland and they charged from $3500 to $8700 🤦🏽‍♀️ they lost their minds. I got put in touch with a breeder that gave me a Yorkie for $1000 with its first shots and records. 7 more weeks till he can come home. He’s a newborn

Teacup yorkies are inbred yorkies 😂 there is NO such thing of a Akc Yorkie being teacup. Proper breeding means it will be the Akc standard size

Yorkies are adorable but the prices are sky high. I've been looking. On cell from $3000. To & 7000. I'm grieving my Yorkie Elvis 17 1/2 yrs no health problems till his last year old age. Arthritis bad cataracts. He couldn't walk his Last day & Dr put him to sleep. I have his ashes in an Urn next to my bed on night table shelf with his picture. It's 3 yrs & I am still mourning Him. I miss Him so much. We were very close & we slept together. I miss him so much. I always will. He was my Baby.

I lossed my dear sweet friend on September 15th one day after her 16th birthday 2023 she was my baby girl. She went every where with my miss her dearly 😢😢. She was given to me as a Christmas gift 😢

Sad thing is they come from puppy mills, such horrible conditions you should report that store, if you knew where their mother lives and R forced to continue to breed one right after another caged up 24/7 living in their own waste, hardly getting feed, no toys, rough conditions, never let out, having their teeth shaved down so they won’t bite the owner when taking her babies away, they r never treated if they have health issues, and they get disposed in a horrific manner after they can’t produce puppies anymore, the horrific list goes on, never support pet stores coz they support theses horrible pet mills, it’s all about the money, please report, it’s heartbreaking just look up puppy mills, farm breeding, it’s heartbreaking and the owners don’t care, heartless dealers think about that 😢

:( Puppymill puppies. You are better off getting a pup from a breeder. I have had a ton of Yorkies who ended up between 2-3lbs full grown and I sold them for less than the price they charged. I don't breed for that size, but they pop up constantly.

With pet stores, they usually purchase from local puppymill breeders, charge 5-10x's the price they paid, and then the puppymill have an incentive to mass produce more puppies in horrible conditions, just to provide the pet stores will more pups. Sucks. :(

You can go to a breeder and get puppies 1000-3000 with AKC papers, shots, deworming, and health guarantees. I took my wife to a pet store to help her decide what kind of puppy she wants she fell in love with a yorkie and a yorkipoo the shop was charging 6500 for the yorkie and 4500 for the yorkipoo. I knew better than to buy a dog from a pet store so I went online found breeders and found one who’s been breeding for 18 years has good reviews and she had a litter of new born yorkipoos. The puppy was 1000 we put 100 deposit on a female red ocean Pearl/ sable we get weekly pictures and videos of our girl the breeder texts us and keeps us up to date on all milestones. My puppy is already being socialized at now 4 weeks old she goes outside for playtime the breeder’s grandkids also play and socialize with the puppies.

I couldn’t see the price but if you don’t traveling you should come to Alexandria, La and purchase a teacup Yorkie from Velvet touch Kennel. ALL of the teacups Yorkies and teacup poodles are absolutely gorgeous!!!! I bought a girl Yorkie less than two months ago and I’m already working on my second one with Mrs. Janice at Velvet Touch Kennel.They rrange from $2, 000-$3, 500 depending on the gender and size/weight. When I purchased my girl she was 2 months @ 22 ounces. Now she’s about a week shy of 5 months @ 1.7-1.9pounds. I haven’t weighed her in almost 2 weeks and she was 1 lb 6 oz then. I thought pet stores didn't sell cats & dogs anymore. In Canada, they partner with rescue organizations. No animals from puppy mills which this clearly is.

There is no such thing as a teacup Yorkie. Just smaller Yorkies that breeders charge more for by calling them Teacup Yorkies. They breed them smaller, and often these puppies are prone to way more health issues.
