And that extends to the tech sector with the appointment of the U.A.E.’s first minister for artificial intelligence. Behind the Emirate’s creation is the lofty ambition to be the global leader in AI and for that commitment to boost the U.A.E.’s GDP by 25% by 2031. Bloomberg’s Manus Cranny spoke with the minister about the nation’s AI strategy and how it has impacted the economy.
