Avoid ERRORS and Solutions .

1. Run VirtualBox as Administrator

2. Fatal: no bootable medium found! System Halted
Restart computer, press F10(or F11, F12 depending on) go to bios and enable virtualization.

3. This kernel requires an x86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU.
download Kali Linux 32 Bit

4.Unable to boot -please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU.
go to VirtualBox -> settings -> system -> processor -> click on ENABLE PAE /NX

I downloaded VMware workstation pro, downloaded the ISO file and then followed his steps, and it's working now!

This video was a lifesaver - thank you! I did get an installation failure the 1st time round which was bc i forgot to change the memory space allocation from 8GB to 20GB. Just a heads up in case anyone else does the same!

Thank you sir! In order for everything to work I first had to go to my Bios and enable virtualization in my CPU settings. I then followed the tutorial and allocated 25GB of space and made it dynamic. Everything worked after that.

The memory space which is by default 8GB NEEDS to be changed to 20GB+ as he said. For me this was giving me the "installation failed" error
