There is certainly an uncanny line between "us" and "them" in Thailand. It's easy to see in the culture if business and road manners. Any type of behavior to take advantage of "them" for even a slightly better outcome for "us" is prevalent in all things. The key is becoming an "us", and thar just can't be done by buying the way in, much to many peoples surprise. Thai or foreigner alike. The loyalty and dedication to "us" in Thai families is truly impressive. The cold and black hearted actions inacted towards "them" is equally awe inspiring.

Never never have a joint account with your wife or girlfriend. You can setup your personal bank account with beneficiaries in case you pass away. Put your Thai wife or girlfriend on a monthly allowance. No more no less. You will have to pay for utilities, rent, food, etc.

As farang man like you the more kids she has as a Thai women the less chance of her leaving you because VERY few if ANY successful Thai men want a Thai women with 1 kid let alone 2 or more! But you seem to know your role and don’t mind… also in the US paying for a in house nurse / maid to help with your medical conditions would cost WAY more and you wouldnt get the other “ benefits “ of paying a Thai “ wife “ … good luck to you 🙏🏽

I am guessing, perhaps incorrectly, that I am one of few female viewers. I found your channel recently, while pondering my own retirement, as a probably single Western woman. I had no idea how many guys make SE Asian “guy” content for other guys who are considering moving. Certainly, I don’t encounter any female version of how to retire this way. While mildly discouraging that Western men seem to have this option to settle down with a younger wife who will take care of him, and I can’t see an equivalent for women ( who may have as much, or more, money to support a household there), I still think your very straightforward, honest videos contain some fascinating clues as to how a woman might possibly structure a life there and pay for care in old age, just minus the marriage/romantic aspects…a more employer/employee relationship. Keep posting & thanks for your insights!
