Guinea pig found living in a shed on property where owners had left

We received an urgent call by a real estate agent that was about to let a property when she realised there was a guinea pig that had been left by previous owners and was living in a shed. When we arrived and spoke with the owner, who had then emptied and high pressure hosed this area, the piggie was not seen. He said that a week before he did find a dead guinea pig and just buried it. So we set a trap in the hope that she would not be too far and would return to the now emptied and cleaned shed. We could only hope. However within 7 hours she did return and we were able to bring her into rescue. She was very very frightened as you will see in a quick health check. Please don't abandon your pets.
