Thanks for the great overview. The RAW mode (which is very unopinionated/neutral) really comes into it's own when you up the style value.

Fantastic comparison video! In my experience, Midjourney AI v5.1 definitely generates eye-catching images right out of the box, but it can be a bit challenging to achieve the desired outcome. The software tends to lean towards highly-stylized and busy compositions, which can result in some rather absurd visuals. My hope is that utilizing RAW mode and adjusting a few settings can help overcome these limitations and produce more refined images.

Hey Wade! Thanks for the update :D I want to have my photos in different aspect ratios, i have been doing it with photoshop so far but i cant bulk there because i have the portable version. Any idea if i can do that with Topaz?

Nice explanation of the version 5.1. In version 5 Midjourney can finally understand the "White background" and it gives a clean white for the background! with not the Vignette effects and borders as it was in v4. Good progress. But still MJ ignores some of the words in the Prompts, the example in your video the (bone with the dog). and also it can not generate (Country flags). I have seen that Adobe Firefly can generate Correctly my country's CYPRUS Flag!! So the the "raw Mode" is like having the "Chaos" in very high values that gives Variety?

Ta for the overview, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the newness with 5.1, and 5.1 raw mode, it's very cool. I've noticed a big improvement to faces like you say.

And as for having nightmares, I used "evil clown --v 5.1 --style raw --s 1000" - that was a mistake 🤣

I definitely did not like 5.1 or raw. I'll have to wait til they come up with something much better.

Why does everything have to be about photorealism? I used v4 for t-shirt vector illustrations and it was just amazing. now I have the impression that 5.1 is much less creative. Before, just typing the word synthwave next to the main character at the prompt already generated images worthy of a movie poster, including palm trees, sunset, stylized graphic elements and an impeccable composition. Now with a short prompt the results are very basic and if I give it a long and more detailed prompt it misses many details or generates something disproportionate. btw i also retested with v4 now and it doesn't give me the same results as before. Very sad 😢😢😢

I'm pissed because I had a free trial with mid journey I didn't even use it all and they cancelled it

Thank you for your video, However. Talking about quality of images and having artifacts on top of your video is not ideal.
