THIS IS NOT A DRILL! ROUTE 607 IS NOW ROUTE SL8!

Today we see a change in TFL's history. No major changes were made in bus routings, but their first-ever Superloop route started operating today, in other words, the 607 just got renumbered to SL8.
This route has a full allocation of MCV Evosetis (which one is shown in the video) and also is operating with completely rebranded buses to fit with the Superloop scheme.
I think it feels weird for the 607 to be renumbered to SL8, especially since it was uniquely the only express ( and non- school)route to have a school route number, but do I think it makes sense for TFL to make this decision.
TFL have launched a consultation to Introduce SL1 (X34) between Walthamstow Central - North Finchley, which I admit sounds useful. The next route to join to superloop club will be the X68 which will take place later this month.
