V6 is slept on for sure. V8’s are pretty nice and a lot of owners would like to have one but my manual 2012 v6 with 200, 000 on the body and 30, 000 on the motor(swapped to a cyclone v6) with a cold air intake and BBK long tube headers has passed up several V8’s and it has kept up with 2 scat packs from a roll.

Funny how many people are clowning on the V6. Seems most don’t under that the Slow 6 era is done, and a built v6 can actually put quite a bit of horsepower into the road.

A lot of you are thinking of everything that came before these 3.7s. The days of shit base model engines in these cars has been over since 2011. They have over 300hp from factory, they’ll give R/Ts hell when stock, and fbo and tuned can hit high 11s in the 1/4. Boosted they’ll run hellcats, boosted vettes, gt500s, zl1 a, Audi R8s, M4s, etc. they hold 600whp reliably when boosted.

Hi, I’m looking at buying my first car soon but can’t decide on what to get. I know I either want a Camaro, a mustang, or possibly a bmw. But I have a 15k budget so I would most likely be getting a v6. What should I get to be able to make fast without spending a ton of money? Also looked at getting a 2015 mustang gt.

Alot of people seem to undermine the fact that there was never a turbo charge v6 sold manufacture wise due to the fact that it would put up numbers that challenged the gt v8 counterpart so with that being said a 3.7 with a tune, headers and a supercharger is definitely running high 400 low 500 and that ladies and gentlemen is how you hurt someones feelings 🤙🏻 fire v6

don't listen to these haters in the comments. they talking about the 3.7l cyclone as if it's the dog water 4.0l v6 from 2005. the 3.7l modded can make 600 wheel HP and stock it's as fast as the 4.6l 3 value mustang from 2005-10

If you’re a v6 hater you’re just ignorant. If you want speed get a sportbike for 5k and walk all over a cocky v8 owner but a v6 will last forever.
