Las Villas Miami Cuban Link Bracelet 10K Too Yellow ?! 😥Better Color Than Daniel Jewelry Inc?

After watching the videos I posted I noticed the color looked extra yellow due to the flash on my phone . Thought I'd post a video of it in natural sunlight . The color is still rich for 10k. You gotta see the 10k around here to understand why i say it's pale looking over here. Some people say jewelers plate solid gold links. Not sure about that but let me know.

Like and subscribe if you like the content for more videos. Thanks!!!

***Update***: Turns out plating over solid gold is a thing in different parts of the country including FL where the best cubans come from. It seems the big names all do it with the exception of CMG from my understanding. Daniel's, Las Villas, Limaxi and Grimal just to name a few. Not a bad thing but just something that's not mentioned in reviews. I'll do a follow up on this.

Regarding the plating,
Bryan summed it up well. Lots of the Miami jewelers will do this at the end once the piece is finished. Think of it the same way as when you buy a new car and the dealer has it waxed and detailed before you take delivery of it.
It’s just something they do as a final touch but the majority of people don’t like it for two reasons:
1. The word plating when your spending thousands of dollars on a solid gold piece just doesn’t sound good at all!
2. Most just don’t like the 18k like deep yellow color and want the gold to have its natural color weather it be 10k or 14k.

Personally I love the look of the 18k yellow color. So much so that I always request to have my 14k gold made to have that same 18k rolex color permanently. This is achieved by changing the composition of the alloys used in the mix.
For the person that doesn’t like that look the plating can easily be polished out but remember everytime your get your piece polished you loose a bit of gold. That’s why when ordering your next piece you should always ask your jeweler if they do a plate finish or not.

I believe that it is plated, but most Miami Cuban makers does that, you should just ask them straight up. Also you can always ask them to take the plating off if it is plated. I hope this helps :)

To a naked eye and for a person that never own a 10k, 14k, and 18k between 10k or 14k the color itself isn’t very far off but 10k and 18k is a very visible color difference. If the 10k from LasVillas is a much shinier they might have put more gold in the mixture of making this bracelet also polish and that to me is a win.

Bro 14k shines more I had 10k before an it’s more blurry like the sweat makes it blurry or dull an in the night or afternoon is look a little more bronze I didn’t like it 14k all day but that 18k when it’s polished it’s another level especially if the sun it an what mm is that
