As a Stars Fan I am very happy Stankoven is working out for the canes in the first game - love the guy and hope he has a great career wherever he is

Stankoven was the AHL Rookie of the Year 2 years ago. When the Stars called him up last year he was leading the entire AHL in scoring and the current MVP of the league. Trust me, Canes fans are going to love Stankoven.

So Taylor Hall exists. Poor guy everyone forgetting about him. He’s been great imo. In the end we got 3 big heart with heavy compete guys that actually seem as if they wanna be here. Love it. Necas was my guy too but he was gonna go no matter what. We need folks that wanna stay and play full on every night!

Taylor Hall with the MFing play of the game! Guy is mad talented and plays hard AF. I think his addition was the underrated steal of the trade deadline. If he stays healthy, it could win us the cup.

I didn’t think it was that bad of a game for the Jets. They had some good looks at the back of the net but was shut down by a great game from Anderson. Some good hockey considering Jets have played 3 games in four (maybe 5?) days on the road.
