Meant to say against the Islanders when talking about Martinook, not the Rangers!

"Here comes Martinook, all of a sudden he's Wayne Gretzky..."

*ping*

"And he scores”

Leon Draisaitl is the biggest surprise. No one expected him to go THAT nuts in the first 8-9 games

Word is Ullmark was injured throughout the playoffs. Yes, he had an amazing regular season, but he did that healthy. Meanwhile you have probably the best backup in the league in Swayman, I don't see why they didn't go to him sooner

Off-season video suggestion: Deal or No Deal but instead of trades, we do mock contracts for free agents

Players like Martinook stepping up out of nowhere is how Stanley Cups are won, I still remember Bryan Bickell going off as a point per game guy in 2013 for the Hawks and look at Lehkonen last year for the Avs

The Bruins were put in a weird spot with Ullmark's injury. On the one hand, they have a good backup, on the other, he's had an amzing season and is locked in to win the vezina.

Tbf people have been saying that Ullmark is injured BEFORE playoffs started. So no, for me it was not surprising that he didnt have a .938% saved. Also it seemed like Florida figured out what his problem was and exploited it.

Ullmark was injured and the Bruins made the same damn stupid mistake they did with Rask when he came back and wanted to play in the playoffs and played like dogwater and cost the series. All because they wanted to play the veteran... even injured... which to me is inexcusable

Honestly I think you should have included Jason Robertson instead of Otter on this list. Robertson has pretty much disappeared compared to how he was in the regular season. He only has 2 goals where his other line mates have 5 and 6. Hell Pavelski's first night back he got 4.

Let’s get a most underrated players during this years playoffs. I think Klim Kostin has been super good for the oilers. He hasn’t been putting up points but he’s putting his body on the line 100% if the time.

Swayman did appear in the playoffs playing the last 2 minutes of game 6 when Ullmark got ejected for a blocker punch.

The thing about Martinook is that he's not just overperforming statistically. His analytics are extremely impressive and the eye test supports it. He was actually great during the first round, creating lots of chances and being probably our second best defensive forward next to KK, but now he's still making those chances and we've set up the lines so we're not wasting his offensive production now. It also seems to have revitalized Necas, as the two of them looked very good together the last two games, even if game 3 didn't go so well in the score department since necas hit the inside of the post three times that game.

I’m surprised you didn’t say Brandon montour he had like 5 or 6 goals in the first round huge part of the panthers beating the bruins

No Akira Schmid 9 games played .921 save% and 2.35 GA his first year in the playoffs they trusted him and he did pretty good wasn't expected he was going to play in the playoffs

I'm not a Bruins fan by any means, but to be fair it was revealed that Ullmark was injured. So you should have put the Bruins coaching team instead of him.

Forgot to include the entire rangers beside shesty in the video

A lot of Otter’s numbers are heavily weighed down by game 3 against Seattle
