Reproduction is a scientific, natural process. It should be taught as such.

I spoke about it in 2 sections at 11y bc she asked where babies are coming from & it was more about the feelings side from it (important is: you know your kid the best but also when they ask this question is important how they ask it)
& then again but at almost 13y with my daughter, without the "birds and bees" story.
So at almost 13y it was the full story
"In love with your dad and together for year's, so that part & then the scientifically part )
& she was like okay but you & daddy really loved each other and waited? I said " yes absolutely but a baby wasn't yet on the plan's so you are a unplanned baby "
I can go verter but this is how it came in conversation, the ages when, a short version of how I talked about it with her, yet also (bc she asked how we knew if we wanted a baby) the unplanned section.

Never ever say to your child "you were a mistake "
Say: WE DIDN'T PLAN IT or YOU WERE UNPLANNED
just never ever EVER a MISTAKE

but 9y? But like I said ⬆️⬆️ there: I, you, we knowing my, your, our children the best
✌🏻🍂

Others told me about sex when I was six -- not my parents. With TV, movies and so forth you have to have conversations early. Otherwise they'll get the wrong information.

I never had the birds and the bees talk. I’m ten, and I know everything about it.

When's the best age to inform one's children of their mortality?
