DSAT Practice Test-1 Module 1 Question 10
I solve a system of equations using the method of substitution. I use the substitution method because it is the quickest algebraic method to solve the system in this case.
Alternative algebraic method of solution is the "elimination" method.
It is also possible to solve a system graphically by drawing the system on x-y space using squared paper and and pen, a graphic calculator or just using DESMOS!!

Here the system is a LINEAR system of equations because each of the two equations in the system is linear. But even if a system is nonlinear, we can use the substitution method to solve many SAT systems of equations questions. So "substitution" is a great method to use in SAT test setting.
