I know her live performance wasn't ideal but I still keep coming back to Lesley Roy and to this song. It's lovely.

The studio version of Maps was one of the best entries Ireland has sent for a long time. The staging was creative and ambitious but sadly didn't quite work well enough on the night; if she had done less running, it would have helped her voice ; very difficult for anybody to sing strongly while moving so much. Nonetheless, Lesley is clearly a talented songwriter and I like how she really engaged with Eurovision fans in the build-up to the contest; she actually gave a damn, unlike previous contestants we've sent *cough Nicky Byrne cough*. Wishing her the best of luck for her future career.

I don't understand how anyone thought having this girl run on a treadmill whilst singing an energetic song, infront of an international audience of 180million plus, was a good idea.

The vocals were off in places, but I feel like it was one of the best written and sweetest songs in the competition, and the staging was great in my opinion but I can see why some thought it was too much. A pity it didn't get to the final!

It may sound weird, but I loved the performance with all its flaws. It sounded and looked so spontaneous, human and vulnerable, unlike most of the acts of this first semifinal.

I don't understand why people who made the performances for Ireland and Romania didn't noticed that they can't sing with all these moves, running and dances? Also they made so strong studio versions of songs that can't be repeated live... I am from Russia and we had Yulia Samoilova several years ago, which studio vocals sounded like it was totally transformed. Also we had Yulia Savicheva in 2004, she is a great singer though, but she couldn't sing and dance at the same time. So, why the creators of performances for Romania and Ireland made the same mistakes? They had real examples that it's never work.

This is still one of my favourite entries from 2021. The vocals didn’t work out to well on the night, but I truly love the staging and the studio version absolutely slaps. I can’t believe it came last in the semi, she put everything into it.

After almost 2 years I still listen to this song. It is the perfect traveling song. Lesley still one of my fav entries in 2020/2021. Hope to see you back soon at eurovision.

As nice as she is. It was out of tune and she looked like she was struggling and forced.
so I can see why it didn't go through. Its a shame as the song itself is very good
