In Java 8, the runAsync() method in the CompletableFuture class is used to asynchronously execute a Runnable task and return a CompletableFuture with Void type. It allows you to perform an operation without returning a result.
Note that starting from Java 9, there is also a runAsync() overload that allows you to specify an Executor for controlling the execution of the task.
