I really hope Lavia and Nkunku can stay fit this season. They have shown that they can be massive game changers. Every time I see Gusto play, I still can't believe we got him for so cheap. He will be an integral part to any success we have this season

- Freerole suits Nkunku.
- cucu can invert
- gusto can invert & so dynamic in his game
- RJ is much better at RCB
- Tosin is much better at CCB as he could command the backline from there. Our backline look more organized.
- Lavia as an anchor looks amazing
- KDH most probably will be a starter at adv 8 LHS.
-Giui looks promising for an 18 yrs old striker.
- Noni just needs to improve his weak foot.

Our squad depth is unreal..😊

I totally agree with you Mah, it would be a pity if we don't use one of our strengths going forward and that's Reece. You gotta make him overlap, those crosses, shots and a burst of pace and power are very much needed in the prem. Come on! Rather ask Cucu to invert because Gusto is also great going forward. I'm really unhappy about this change. But I believe we'll have a better season than last year.

Fully agree with you on inverted fullbacks. And I noticed something on top of that. The team is far too narrow for my liking. The lack of width becomes very visible when we build from the back due to the small number of passing options. It's gonna make it very hard for our players to resist the press and we'll be very prone to mistakes.

Lavia and KDH in this midfield looked amazing…we really need someone up top to have a focal point to feed the ball into (cough Osimhen cough) and this squad will really look improved with the obvious compact formations we’ve seen so far this preseason

I still think we were defensively poor at times.... club america ddnt hve to do much to get to our defence ....but with the ball we look a lot more promising....again the final third finishing still a hindrance....but good development from the team overall

Also to add on madueke not only is his finishing / crossing need improvement but also I noticed few times when they beat our press it was because Noni was too lazy to do full press. He’s also lazy for player with his ability that’s frustrating.. guy thinks he’s Neymar

Ditto, a much better display although I feel the opposition were like a championship side perhaps. Great team performance though, Lavia & Nkunku MOTM, Malo good as usual, thought Lesley came on and played well. Hope all forgiven with Enzo and think even Badashille growing in confidence with Tosi. .Giui young but goal for him, will do the same. Oh and KDH looks real live & clever with the ball. Chelsea are back.😂

I was at the stadium on the side that Noni Madueke was on. Really good driving at players but selfish on layoffs and lazy on defense. And his crazy obsession with penalties like dude wtf

Maresca im proud of this guy, showing willingness to adapt. Because the high line last game was atrocious

I think no matter how well Madueke plays, he’s still not a starter in this Chelsea team which is why I think he doesn’t play with a smile on his face. He knows palmer walks back into the team when he returns and it’s hard to argue against it

If everyone can stay fit i see the striker whoever that might be chipping in with 20 goals, Palmer 15, Nkunku probably the same and that's 50 goals plus everyone else especially defenders on set pieces with our new set pieces specialist will add 30 more goals so i predict 80+ goals scored this season.
