2 and 3 are true. 1 is true most of the time, it kinda depends on the player too because playing with a good card won't help if you don't have experience with it.

Another tip: choose cards you are confident with playing. If you have 500 wins with firecracker but archers seem to fit into your deck better, think carefully before choosing

New idea:
Sandbox Mode: this would be a mode where you can create any situation in the game by placing troops and towers in any position and then being able to play out the situation like a normal match, this could help practice defences and learn new tricks.

1. You can use lp as a bait, make them sometimes pick non sinergy just for a counter.
2. same you can do with wincons, ex pick balloon and most people will pick counters and then last draft just get something that they can't defend (you will have 1 less pick but they might get 3-4 useless cards against your last pick
3.pick log or arrows first for general swarm and then wait with the big spell so you can counter them

Few other things:
1. Three musketeers can be super deadly. Look for big spells, monk, or cards like valk if they’re on the board, if not, they’ll can easily win you the game

2. Make a deck that can fit in almost any win condition. Don’t take air cards and limit yourself to lava or a freeze that will limit yourself to loon/graveyard.

3. Miner can fit into almost anything and basically has no hard counters. If you want to take a win con early, it should be miner control. There’s nothing in the game that can completely consistently stop a miner, especially when you’re also given poison/rocket and no nado on the board. As long as you choose defending cards that counter your opponents cards and can defend well, it shouldn’t be too hard to win

I always pick win cons or very strong cards earlier on, so long as I know what kinda of counters I need to prepare for. It helps me find good synergies and also baits the opponent into investing in specific counters, which means I can know what they will go for in advance and either take it or plan accordingly

Just wait and pick balloon last when they have nothing to counter it

Additionally look for hard counters and look for missing counters.

Ex. If mother witch is in the game swarms are not good picks.
Or
If balloon is in the game and there are very few strong air cards taking said cards will give you an advantage.


Finally take hard counters for your deck if none of the above apply. Like taking barbs when you are planning for rg.

Hot take: Evo archers may be the best evolution if you just compare the evolutions by themselves, but in the context of a deck evo knight is way better because it pairs better with the overpowered little prince. Evo archers and little prince are both three elixir ranged troops, and unless there's some part of the game that I'm not high enough level to understand, they fill a similar enough niche in a deck. That means that if youre running little prince (which Supercell is basically forcing everyone to right now) evo knight will work better in your deck than archers, as it can serve a different function instead of the same one as the lil prince. Maybe I'm biased because having a tank like evo knight is always good in the control decks that I play, but I do think that the little prince pairs better with the evo knight than archers, making knight the more meta evolution

Remember once some guy was trying to make a lavaloon deck, and when i noticed that, i took the balloon away as a joke. Never used the balloon until the end of the game to just make fun of him that i took the card he wanted to take

ive had multiple drafts where the person wont take a single ranged so ill take lavahound last choice and send it at the bridge only to watch my enemy hopelessly cycle through their deck for their one fire cracker they took

Mega Draft is definitely my favorite mode, for win conditions I usually save it for like my 5th or 6th pick instead of last

I always start with a spell so that the other guy can't pick a counter for it. Almost all the times the opponent starts picking cards I can pick hard counters too. I also make sure to pick atleast 1 building

Most of the time you want to pick miner and a big spell like poison or fireball bc they’re the most versatile
