Living with HIV for 20 years | Joan Stephens | Life story

HIV, a prevalent sexually trasmitted disease that attacks the healthy cells of the infected person’s body. The Caribbean is currently facing an epidemic of HIV with the second-highest prevalence rate worldwide after Africa. Here is Jamaica, UNAIDS reports forty thousand people were living with HIV in twenty-eighteen (2018). Today we are finding out what life is like for Joan Stephens, a woman living with HIV for more than twenty years.
