Pov: You work in a candy store. You are about to lock up but these girls come running up to you. “Hey! Can we please come in? It will be quick.” You get payed minimum wage so what does it matter. You unlock the door and they come running in. They grab some marshmallow candy, gummy bears, and chocolate. “Is this all?” You ask. “Yep! Thank you!” They put the candy on the counter and as soon as you touch the candy you fall into the ground. You are startled and start screaming. You look around you and see what looks like a candy wonderland. You have a weird hat on and some sort of suit. Your also wearing a monocle but can’t take it off- “Oops! Didn’t mean to do that hehe.” The girl says. They now look like pastel, sparkly princess. They are all holding the candy they bought. “What am I don’t here? What is this place!” You scream at them before they answer. “Oh it’s simple.” It is? Are they crazy? I might as well listen.. “You just have to play a game with the candy queen in order to get out. Want to play?” She smirks and puts her hand out. Like a handshake. You are hesitant but end up shaking her hand. “I might as well. I want to get out of here.” “Let’s go then!” She jumps in joy and starts walking past me and I follow her. What have I gotten myself into..

Part 2:
You walk down a shiny road with trees popping up everywhere you look. They aren’t normal trees through. They have candy vines and gummy worms all over it. I hate it here. “Only a few more steps and we will be there!” A few more steps? It looks like miles! As soon and she says that a portal open up to what looks like a huge game of chess. She grabs your hand and says “cmon, don’t you want out of here?” You have no choice. You run in and you are massive. You are sitting in a huge chair with what looks like a woman dressed in black and white. “Hello darling. What are you here for?” Well that was qui- “I SAID WHAT ARE YOU HERE FOR!” She slams her hand on the table and I stutter “I- I um..I’m playing so I can um..get out of h-here.” She looks surprised. “Hmm. Are you sure? If you lose you have to stay here forever.” “I’m sure.” I said briefly. You started the game immediately after you said that. All of this is going to fast. I’ve only been here for 10 minutes and I feel like 100 things have happened. I wonder how long this will take.. The queen sets up the chess pieces and says “black or white.” Hmm..she said white kinda enthusiastically so she might think I want white. I don’t know if she botched the game or not so I think that I might have to go with black. “Black please.” She looks surprised. “Black it is. Let’s get started.” She makes the first move. I’m getting butterflies now. I make a move with my horse. I don’t know anything about chess so I hope that I don’t jinx myself. She smirks. She moves her Queen forward. How- why would she do that! Only a psycho would move their queen this early into the game! What do I do. What do I do! “Scared?” She says. “Never.” I move my queen and she laughs. She moves her queen then I move my queen. She moves her king and I move my king. I have to do everything she does. I don’t know if this works but I have to change it. I look at the board and see I can knock one of her horses down. But if I do that then her king can knock down my rook. Not so bad, right? I make a move and knock her king down and take what’s mine. She throws a tantrum to her servant about how she should be winning and after a few rounds, I had the upper hand. Well all know I’m going to win. I’m almost there. All of my chess pieces are almost at the end. I got this. I move my Queen vertically so her chess pieces can’t take it. I’m at the end. I won. Oh my god. “Oh my god! I won! Holy crap I won! Suck it Queen I get to go home now!” “Oh boy, you may have won but I still have one last thing I need from you..”

Part three: “What?” You ask confusingly. “I did what you asked?” She chuckles. “You young boy really thought it was THAT easy? Pfft. Anyways, it’s not that hard if your smart. It’s a riddle.” Are you kidding me. A riddle? Out of everything she chose, she chose a riddle. Whatever, I’m almost done. “What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a head but never weeps, has a bed but never sleeps?” She quickly snaps at you. “Make sure your listening. “I um..I-” She seems annoyed. Ok think. What can run, has a mouth, and a head? I mean the first answer would be a body but that is too easy.. (Answer here on your own if you want to see if your right!) “A river! It’s a river!” She blinks her eyes in awe of how fast you got that. “How? Well, what a smart boy you are.” She puts her arm on your shoulder and acts as if your a child. She’s being petty. “Thanks. Can I go now?” She smiles and walks away. The little girl giggles and skips away. “Wait! Where are you going! Get me out of here!” You see your hand turn into dust and start screaming bloody murder. It doesn’t matter but it’s very scary. I mean, who wouldn’t scream at your body being disintegrated. You black out and next thing you know your back at the register in the book store taking the girls order. “Well, do you want my money or not?” She smirks. You slowly ring up the candy and her friends whisper and giggle. “$8.25” you say stuttering. She hands you the money and takes her things. “He was so weird.” “I know right?” What the hell just happened..
