Real Madrid in the past decade in the UCL has been crazy scary. They literally own the competition

A funny little fact, Jude Bellingham is the youngest player in History to assist in the UCL final, which was Previously Toni Kroos.

People always sleep on Carvajal but he’s been integral in many Champions League matches & solid for over a decade.

Speaking as a Dortmund fan, this is pretty much what most of us expect. There was hope, but…well, as the saying goes…it’s the hope that kills you. We worked so hard to shut Madrid out, but hard work comes to nothing if you don’t take your chances.
Adeyemi ….he’s such a frustrating player, man! You can’t be 1 on 1 with a goalkeeper for 20 yards and not put the ball in the back of the net. It’s an absolute madness! And Fullkrug, even if he was offside, he had half the goal to aim for and hits the post. 🤷‍♂️ Oh well…it’s hard to be super angry when you lose a final to a team like Real Madrid. It’s just so frustrating because the chances were there. As always, Heja BVB 🖤💛

Its about time for Carvajal to get his recognition...He was never a star for the team like Marcelo or R.Carlos but there's no doubt he's an absolute legend ! His consistency at the very high level all those years makes him one of the greatest right backs in history 🙌

Madrid is the Thanos of the UCL at this point and there is nothing you can do about it.

Not all "underdog stories" have happy endings Adrian, that is why you NEVER count Madrid out, especially if it's a Champions League Final.

That chance that Adeyemi had vs Courtois is such monster play by the goalie, he just waited and waited and then when that tower of a human stretching of course Adeyemi had to foward the ball that much giving Carvajal the chance to block it. Im from Madrid and its been a great 2 days :). Hats off to Dourtmud, great team great fans.

I’m an Interista, but there is no doubt that Real Madrid is the objective greatest club of all. Unbelievable serial winners.

When Dortmund didn't score in the first half I felt like I knew how this would end.

Dortmund had their chances, they didn't convert them and then it is just a matter of time until Real does what they do.

Real Madrid just has the champion aura no matter what squad they have in UCL.

Mbappe announced as Real Madrid player. The Champions League might become a one team competition

Congrats to the greatest team in the past decade. You don’t win 60% of the UCL titles by accident. As a Barca fan, at least we can say we had a few wins against this super team during their dominance.

I was born into a family that loves MADRID
Needlessly to say during my early teens my love and affection grew to such a point where now at 34 I always say my first true love was MADRID
and I'll keep this energy until my last breath

I believe many football fans and even pundits think Madrid is always lucky, because we aren’t used to teams anymore that dominate the game without possession.
Nowadays everyone wants a Guardiola type manager for his club, someone who micro manages every aspect of the game and wants to have the ball as much as possible.

It’s a nice irony of fate that the greatest coach of all time is the total opposite of that. Ancelotti just tweaks small aspects during a game that make a huge difference. His substitutions are always perfection.
Dortmund was the better team in the first half, but the only club itw that is comfortable with being worse is Real Madrid.
They know when to defend in a low block, be passive, let the opponent have the ball. Basically real knocked out city with a Milan esque defensive masterclass.
But real knows when to switch it up like no other club.
When they scored the first goal, all of a sudden they switched to a high line. Dortmund wasn’t even able to get out of their half anymore.
Then Maatsen makes the catastrophic pass due to all the pressure and this needs to be said too: real has in nearly every position an absolute legend of the game. Their individual quality is so absurdly high, ofc they score after every mistake from their opponents.

This team really ruined this competition because they made it so one sided. I say it with no hate and all the respect for RM.
