A dedicated ministry for pollution. Environment pollution should be added to union list, key decisions regarding pollution should be taken by center, to avoid collision between states.
People should be made aware about wood and garbage burning, especially the young ones.
Non conventional sources of energy should be encouraged.
A collective effort should be put in to end the practice of stubble burning.

Its funny that priority of govt is not to make air breathable in Delhi, but not to be the worst in the world. AQI is bad throughout the year except monsoons, but govt takes quick fix steps only around October.

Stubble burning apart, garbage burning, construction, and industries are very large part of this pollution all round the year and people know the ways to mitigate without reducing output. Yet, the inertia is whats causing such great harm.

One of the long term solutions that any state government in india can do ia focus on clean/green tech and this doesnt mean you should invest solar panels every where it is a good solution for sure but it has a life span of about 20-25 years and there isnt a way to recycle them after that, i dont remeber the company's name but there is a company that actually captures carbon or other toxic materials from the air and makes ink out of them we need more such innovation like these where you remove toxic materials from the air and make products out of it and sell them government should fund innovations like these provide them with mentorship to be crisp with their innovation
