I've brought up egg prices with maga relatives, they suddenly act like that isn't a big deal when that was one of the primary cited reasons they voted for him.

Labor shortages will certainly escalate. You don't have to deport all the workers to cause them. Once deportations begin, workers stop showing up in the field. That is apparently already happening with the California citrus harvest.
