As opposed to humans who will make mistakes

I've been playing against CPU lvl 8 for like 2 hours and it whoop my ass like a lot lol. But since i didn't played the closed beta, i need to get used to Drive mechanics and the overall pace which so far i feel quite similar to SF III or V. Can't wait to play the full game in June :3

I was looking pretty hard but it didn't seem like they were "aggressively" input reading. Some parts felt suspect but it more reminds me of how the cpu worked in DOA7LR where if you used the same move often enough they just started stuffing it.

So bravo zulu to Capcom. After mucking it all up from AE, SFxT, and V they (seemingly) got it right, again. Home.

I tried playing vs the cpu and they legit just style combo on me constantly. It's hilarious.

Took me almost all night to get a full set on the lvl 8 cpu… granted I had to learn literally everything while getting bodied all night but I got to a point where I could just out-fundamental the cpu lol

AI is no joke in this, they hit drive cancel combos like a mf.

Did some quick testing for anyone wondering about the AI levels in general.

1-2 were basically test dummy level, 3-6 is when it gets more like an actual fight, 7 the AI was noticably more aggressive and fairly overwhelming but not unbeatable, just needing some more brainpower to beat. 8 is....the bullshit you see in this video.


Overall seems the AI should make for a good opponent at most skill levels. I was worried by what I was seeing in this video and had to analyze all the levels after 😅.
