The fact that a fan animation got into the actual show is crazy.

Some interesting cameos/appearances (I'm also adding this to the respective couch gag introduction page on the Simpsons Wiki on Wikia):
0:25: Frank Grimes
0:28: Malk (Full of Vitamin R! from "The PTA Disbands"), Little Jamshed (from "Homer the Heretic"). The total price after scanning Maggie is a ^_^ instead of $847.63 (the old version)/$486.52 (the new version)
0:30: "Heady Goodness" sign overhead, from "Rosebud" (the teddy bear, "Bobo", from Burn's childhood)
0:35: Todd Flanders with a Bible and Nelson with dynamite. This part is based on the new version opening, instead of the classic opening (where kids were playing instruments instead of playing their smart devices). This video, except for this rehearsal scene, is based on the classic opening before everyone reaches the couch.
0:47: Ned Flanders with Maude the ghost; Princess Kashmir; Camouflaged Milhouse (from "Lemon of Troy"), Bart in his daredevil clothes (in "Bart the Daredevil." Thanks for the help of @mel han)
0:49: The flying pig (when Lisa goes vegetarian), the B Sharps on top of Moe's (from "Homer's Barbershop Quartet"), and Moe with a shotgun in front of his tavern (from GRUNT)cious).
0:50: Poochie
0:51: Hans Moleman in Bart's clothes (which Homer likes to kiss because it's like kissing a peanut); Roy (also from the same episode of Poochie); different sideshows with Krusty (including sideshow Bob and Cecil)
0:54: Egg council person (who told Lenny about egg cholesterol from "Homer the Great"); Truckasaurus; Gentle Ben (the bear host); "Homer" the car (from "Oh Brother, Where Are Thou?")
0:55: Local leader of the stonecutters (from "Homer the Great"); half of the lemon tree (from "Lemon of Troy"); Duff Surly; Stampy; Truckosaurus (Thanks for the tip provided by
0:59: Snakes from "Whacking Day"; Pepi; Leon Kompowsky the Micheal Jackson; Edna Krabappel and Agnus Skinner looks at Principle Skinner with Superintendent Chalmers (with Super Nintendo, as Ralph Wiggum called him "SuperNintendo Chalmers"); Allison Taylor from Lisa's class; Lewis Clark from Bart's class; Hank Scorpio; Rainier Wolfcastle (act as McBain); the Lamb caused Lisa to be vegetarian; John from "Homer's Phobia"; Larry Burns; Lyle Lanley who build the Springfield Monorail; Mindy Simmons; Mayer Quimby; Martin with Jimbo, Dolph; Kearny (along with his son); Artie Ziff; Capital City Goofball; Troy McClure; Jacque (the home wrecker); Sir Oinks-a-lot from Springfield A&M; Burns (with Bobo in his hand) and Smithers; Kent Brockman; Krusty with Mr Teeny; Sherry & Terry; The sea captain with the Three-eyed Fish in his hand; "Big Butt Skinner" (from "Bart's Comet"); Lionel Hutz; Dr. Marvin Monroe and Dr. Julius Hibbert; Phillips (Marge's cellmate when she's in jail); Lurleen Lumpkin; Otto with his school bus; The two aliens, Kang and Kodos; Roger Myers Jr.; Lou and Eddie; Jebediah Springfield; Rodd, Todd and Ned Flanders with a sign saying "LEFT PWR".

Since they are on the couch, there are multiple segues in glitch-art style:
1:11: Whole family with church clothes; Homer in his high school (while others still have the church clothes); Both Marge and Homer in their high school (from "The Way He Was") + Lisa dressed up as Statue of Liberty (Treehouse of Horror III) + Bart as a hoodlum (also from Treehouse of Horror III). Homer then segued into blue/red shirt (not really sure about what this is, guess it is Mr. Plow);
1:12: Colonel Homer; Marge in Selma's baggy dress after destroying her Chanel before going to the country club (thanks for the tips of @mel han); Clobber Girl (from "Treehouse of Horror X"); Bartman; Homer segued into blue/red shirt again back to Colonel Homer; Marge in dotted bikini (in Homer's Governor fantasy where he robbed Apu after he's got a gun in "The Cartridge Family"); Lisa in braces ("Dental plan - Lisa needs braces") and Bart with lazy eye/posture/scalp problem in the big, heavy boots (from "The Last Temptation of Homer"); Homer in mumu after he reaches 300 pounds (from "King-Size Homer"); whole family on couch again but Homer has a winter clothes (which he used to ski and thinking about "stupid sexy Flanders"), then the whole family gets into winter clothes
1:13: Same clothes, Homer segues into the appearance with plunger on head (which happens again during his future high school reunion in "The Front"); Marge in Channel (marked down from $2, 800 and she bought is for better economy from "Scenes from the Class Struggle in Springfield"); Lisa "smells like a sandwich" after she got gum and peanut butter in her hair (from "22 Short about Springfield"); Bart in pee-wee football suit (Marge: "Milhouse, stop that!", from "Bart Star"); Homer in white hat and white shirt + Marge in blue/purple shirt + Lisa with camera + Bart in even redder shirt (from "Bart vs. Australia"); Maggie in her winter star-like clothes; Homer the Clown; Bart with a rag on the stick (from Bart's fantasy in "King-size Homer")
1:14: Homer hit by cannon (from "Homerpalooza"); Marge in chains from, well, "Marge in Chains" then segued into her uniform in "Realty Bites" as a realty saleswoman; Lisa from "Summer of 4' 2''; Bart mooning (still from "Bart vs. Australia"); Homer in Space suit (from "Deep Space Homer"); Lisa and Bart in ice hockey suit (from "Lisa on Ice"); Obese Lisa ("Wesley, get Mama's prying bar. easy does it now, easy..." from her fantasy in "Lisa the Simpson")
1:15: Marge Simpson of the Springfield Police Force (from "The Springfield Connection"); Lisa in Homer-made "Floreda" suit (from "$pringfield"); Bart in his Ballet suit ("Homer vs. Patty and Selma")
1:16-1:18 no new appearance other than those appeared from 1:11 to 1:15.
1:19: People from the Stonecutters, including Orville Redenbacher, Jack Nicholson, George Bush and Mr. T.
1:22: Homer's sperm (from "Brother, Can You Spare Two Dimes?")
1:24: Marge with Pretzel (from "The Twisted World of Marge Simpson"); brushes (from many episodes, but I think this one is a reference to "Brush with Greatness" considering the following John Lennon); bowling ball (from "Life in the Fast Lane"); three-eyed fish (Blinky from multiple episodes, but since Marge dealt with it, I guess this is a reference of "Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish") and two things I cannot really name (is that a cocktail cup and a baton/bat? If that were a baton, then it should be Marge's police equipment from "The Springfield Connection") with Patty/Selma on the background
1:25: Springfield Monorail (from "Marge vs. Monorail")
1:26: Marge's Ringo Starr portrait (from "Brush with Greatness"); skateboards on Bart's side and sax on Lisa's side (and Bart's the devil while Lisa's the angel)
1:28: Mr. Sparkle (from "In Marge We Trust")
1:31: Itchy/Scratchy robot from "Itchy & Scratchy Land"
1:33: Kang/Kodos, with the Space Mutant (Movie series)

I just can't believe the creators of this couch gag put so many things into a short, 1.5 min video. I've always wanted to write a summary of this couch gag, and I finally finished this. This couch gag sure is a masterpiece!

I'm so happy that you got recognized by the producers of the Simpsons. I love it when fans who make something are recognized by the ones who inspired them. Congratulations!

I see references to other episodes:
0:25 - Frank Grimes's ghost, 0:47 - dead Maude and Milhouse disguised in the bush, 0:49 - Flying pig and Homer's acapella band, 0:50 - Poochie, Moleman with Bart costume and Roy, 0:55 - a Stonecutter, one of the Duffs and Stampy, 1:24 - The 3 eyed fish, Homers bowling ball, a pretzel and a Whacking Day stick, 1:26 - The monorail, one of Bart's custom shirts and a Ringo Starr painting, 1:28 - Mr Sparkle, and in 1:38, there is "Forever Maggie".
Let me know if I missed any.

0:29 I like how the scanner displays a happy face when it usually doubles the total cost of Marge’s groceries or in earlier seasons it displayed $842.63 when Maggie is scanned which was the average cost of raising a baby for one year at the time

Fun fact : Maggie Simpson has been confirmed to be immortal, as proven in an episode where Bart has a nightmare in a coma and he learns how everyone will die, and it says "Maggie Simpson : Never died".

This is legitimately better animation than the stuff by the show’s actual animators today.

Oh man, this is the coolest Simpsons intro I have ever seen. Amazing work!👍👊👏

0:35 You know, I really love the opening scene with Lisa, where everyone is playing videogames instead of their instruments. 😂
