That’s one I could never get! I’ll have to revisit this one. The way you explained it, and watching it slowed down, seems doable.

Just to double check, is this the same as a Tre flip but rotating the opposite direction right?

Hey Jeff I started doing this trickery on flat in 06 I have never done this off anything from a straight angle of parallel to the side yes I did these stationary on flat for years and caught one to axl stall stationed
You ever dabble with this on flat practicing might get you somewhere but is demanding anyways keep shredding 😊

By flick, I'm assuming you mean kick downwards

And yes I have done nollie 5 inward heels in flat but I'm a juggler now and I'm kinda worn out physically from years of flat ground skating

For the hardflip because i do it between the legs when you pop it you kick your front foot back the oposite way from a kickflip

He locks his knees earlier than Jimmy Carlin, from what I've seen. I can't do that trick and have no current plans to be that good lol.

on flat I can land it about 1 in 100, but it's real ugly, and my foot position is impractical af - all scrunched to the back of the board. My front foot lightly taps down as it kicks backwards, and the back foot does all the heavy lifting by popping from the back/side with a very aggressive scoop. It's not pretty.

360 hardflip then a Grind. Do the impossible.

I doubt hardflip is essential for learning this. It's two different ways of catching them.

He does them nice but I find them to be ugly cause they are always caught just as the board hits the ground. Hate that kind of trick. Catch it high early
