I used to speed run portal 2 and the best part of that community was the minds behind it. The community tab has everything from how to setup your timer properly so it doesn’t include load times so everyone has an even playing field, a full game tutorial on every single room in the game, times for each individual room and constant discussions on new routes and paths. If anyone is interested in speedrunning highly recommend Portal 2 as a game to start

I’ve been playing GTA V for over a year on a low-end PC and it’s been more than enjoyable. Not speedrunning, just enjoying the game. It’s more about what you make of the game than of what your pc gives you. I suggest upgrading your RAM as one of the first things you do. Oh, and make sure you have a dedicated Graphics Card.

You forgot the fact that YOU can change the shadows to being completely disabled for a higher FPS but changing settings (outside of the GTA 5 menu) is not even allowed

Not until the mission with the car lot that automatically fails if you have too much fps and you have to cap it gets fixed.

I got a almost 7yr old laptop. And it crashes when I try to play GTA V for 30min. But it will have like 20fps if I want to play Roblox with my cousin.

As a person who owns an UHD 620 laptop, I can confirm you can speedrun in these device, just use a capture card instead of recording software like OBS, Bandicam, etc

I play gta 5 on low end PC there's giant keyboard delay when driving and sometimes when walking, its possible to speedrun probably but it'd be hard af, i couldn't even finish the story.

I literally finished gta 5 on my dad's old work computer which he didn't use and the game ran on like 2-5 fps 💀💀 took me a month to finish it tool me 3 hours to finish pacman and I didn't even fali the computer was just that bad

U can run gta v on the setting under the most or high idk what it is on a £423 pc some used parts at 145fps
