I think you are amazing! Your family is lovely. I was an educator for children with additional needs for 43 years; your little man is gorgeous! I wondered if you have any thoughts on the state of health care (I think most USA docs are great) I grew up my first 30 odd years in NJ in a working class family. I was afraid to let my family I was ill (e.g. three hospitalisations for blood loss due to periods requiring pints of blood). I have now lived in the UKfor 35 years where at 60 I pay no National Insurance. I have never entered a hospital including Guys for asthma or Moorfields for cataracts and given anymore than name, DOB and address. I am fully aware the NHS is underfunded and waits can be long but I’m also aware that despite working enough years my Medicare coverage is very basic so I go to the USA with extensive travel insurance. I really believe that you care as doctors. Any thoughts on a middle ground? Sorry not so much about your amazing achievements; couldn’t find anywhere else to put this. All the best to your beautiful family.
