The problem with trump is tow parts:
1: the conservative base has become very anti war and intervention
2: the disgusting ungratefulness of a majority of a majority of American secular Jews toward trump

In his last presidancy Trump was unpredictable and seen as off the cuff bordering on crass. Perhaps, today...this time around he is practicing self-control. He had 4 hard years to learn the game. I am betting he is smart and has recognized the value of choosing his words as a politician. Trump also now understands better the value of keeping his cards close to the chest. If he truly does go against Biden in a bid for presidency and wins. I hope he has progressed in his mind to wisdom. On the side of goodness, not evil.

You are looking at politicians in the US. Who do you trust? a used car salesman who tells everyone what they think you want to hear or someone who tells you his opinion bluntly, unfortunately often offending some part of the population. Personally I would trust the one that speaks his mind openly over a lifelong embellisher any day.

Trump is a "state's rights" populist, and his attitude has always been to give us carte blanche to handle our defense. However, his messaging is sometimes too obtuse for most people, and falls flat as a result.
