Assalam o alikum
Today I'm here with new recipe .Basbousa is an Arabic sweet made with semolina. This is usually made during all special occasions and festivals, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. This is an easy to make dish .
Haleema Baloch
Ingredients
1 cup coarse semolina
1/2 cup All purpose flour
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
1/2 sugar powder
170 g Cream
1/2 melted Clarified butter
or unsalted butter
1/3 cup milk powder
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 eggs
1/2 glass water or milk
Some cashew or any nuts you like
Some crashed vermicelli ( seviyan)
Sugar syrup
2 cup sugar
1&1/2 cup water
1 tbsp Rose water
1 tsp lemon juice
Method
Mix all the ingredients and add in saucepan on high flame until it boil. Boil for 10 minutes or until the syrup coats the back of a spoon .
