Honestly Kraglin's reaction is what made this scene. You could almost feel the joy coming from him as he realized his lifelong boss was finally reaching the reward Ravagers all aspire too. Well done Mr. Gunn.

Yondus funeral was so well done. Honestly the most beautiful scene in the movie. Kraglins reaction is what brought it home for me.
This scene hit me harder than any death in Infinity War..

"Yondu didn't have a talking car but he did have a flying arrow. He didn't have the beautiful voice of an angel but he did have the whistle of one."

Everyone dies in Infinity War: I sleep.

Yondu dies in GotG Vol. 2: *waterfalls*

I love that Baby Groot wants Drax to hold him as he sleeps. It makes perfect sense. Drax had a daughter. He knows how to hold a baby.

It's kind of funny. My dad and I went and saw the first move in theaters together and we cried rivers when Groot 'died'.

Now I'm here, three years later, alone because my dad passed away, learning from Guardians of the Galaxy to value our fathers, no matter what they say or do because they tend to be there for us in some way.

I think yondu's death scene touched me more than Iron man's

Sometimes, even when you aren't particularly sad about anything, you just need a good cry. It's cathartic. It's cleansing. This is one of those rare scenes that I go to sometimes, late at night, just to get it out of my system. Don't tell anybody.

Rocket's moment in this part always gets me. Finally feeling like he relates to someone as scared and defensive as him only to have them taken from him. But he realizes in the end that his family will always love him and be there for him even when he messes up. He doesn't need to push anyone away anymore.

Hands down the saddest death in the Marvel universe.

And the only Marvel movie that ever made me cry like a baby

I was fine until Kraglin celebrated. Then the dam opens

Step 1: Lie down
Step 2: Try not to cry
Step 3: Cry a lot

I was holding back my tears, but 0:40 broke my heart and made me cry a river...

P.S. James Gunn liked my tweet about this, and this is the best day ever. RIP Yondu

I can't stop crying seeing this scene. This is how funeral scenes are done. All that dreary rain at a funeral cliche we see all the time no longer has emotional impact anymore. Good music selection helps here as well. 10/10

Kraglin reaction is the best. You can feel all the emotions from him: sadness because his friend died but also the happiness because Yondu was finally respected, appreciated by the Ravagers. I'm sad and happy in the same time
The music was so good synchronized with the events, for example: "Find a girl" and in the same time "it's just… some unspoken thing", so beautiful

"He stole batteries he didn't need". THAT was an honest to God Roy Mustang's "It's raining" moment. The understanding between Rocket and Peter is so beautiful right there.

The best marvel sentimental moment ever.
